World of Warcraft (WoW) on Mac OS X case sensitive filesystem

Prelude

Unix has a nice virtual file system, based on the / (root) and then a lot of branches from that. All of these directories and files can be named using CaSe-sensitive names! The world is great.

But unfortunately some software vendors don't know that this is possible, especially since they moved from bad old operating systems were files were named without regard to names and case for letters. Some software vendors move from older versions of Mac OS to Mac OS X, and other software vendors move from MS-DOS/Windows.

You should have returned the crap-ware for a refund, and explained the amateurishness of the developers.
